Our family and pet-friendly comfortable cottage with country walks on the doorstep and beaches nearby is inthe pretty village of Upwey between the seaside resort of Weymouth and the charming county town of Dorchester

There are three cosy bedrooms all carpeted. The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed, wardrobe with two large drawers and dressing table.  There are bedside cabinets with reading lamps on each side. The second bedroom has a double bed with reading lamps on each side and a dressing table.   The third bedroom has a triple bunk with the lower 4ft bunk sleeping two people with access from one side only. The top 3ft bunk is reached by ladder and is suitable for one child over five.  There is very large wardrobe with two large drawers and a bedside table.

The modern shower room with wash basin and toilet serves the three bedrooms.

Downstairs you have a cosy sitting room with large leather settee and armchair. There is a gas woodburner-style stove to supplement full central heating. There is a large flat screen freeview TV and three occasional tables.

Walking through to the adjoining living/dining room you have another comfortable area for relaxation. At one end there is a comfortable leather settee and a large
leather armchair giving giving scope for separate activities as a door divides the two rooms.  Here you find an extending dining table for six people. There is a flat screen freeview television with DVD access in the side.

The attractive duck egg-blue modern kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, double electric fan oven and washing machine.

We welcome a well behaved pet but ask guests not to smoke indoors.

Private personal parking for up to three cars is at the back of the cottage.  The  gardens are gravelled with shrubs and climbers surrounding tables, seats, barbecue units etc ready for a relaxing drink or BBQ after an interest-filled day.

We stayed with our two children and Mum and Dad.  The ottage was clean and well equipped.  The bedrooms were a good size.  We enjoyed sitting out in the evenings.  It was a perfect location for visiting all around.  The train station with free parking was only two minutes' drive away.  We visited a lovely little tea room just a 10-minutewalk away which i would recommend.  We would stay again -- thank you.
